I have been interested in blacksmithing since I was a teenager, spending inordinate amounts of time watching the blacksmith at any living history site I happened to be at, and reading every book I could find on the topic. I gradually acquired tools and equipment, and set up my home forge around 1993. At a living history event, the demonstrator happened to mention Adam's Forge. I jumped at the chance to take classes, and learned much more quickly! Adam’s Forge is creating a thriving blacksmithing community through classes and events that inspire and support aspiring artists, tradespeople, and community.
Open Forge
All villagers that spawn in the village will instead spawn as zombie villagers. Cobblestone also has a higher chance of turning into mossy cobblestone than normal villages. First layer is 10 blocks by 7 blocks, and has one extra row at the bottom for the optional stairs with no blocks ever above them in higher construction.

The only difference between these wooden blacksmiths is that the plains ones have oak wood, taiga blacksmiths have spruce wood, and savanna villages have acacia wood; therefore, they are all treated as one.

Each farm spawns as one of four types of crops, chosen between wheat, beetroot, carrot, or potato. In Java Edition the crops that generate on a village farm spawn as seeds, while in Bedrock Edition they spawn as full-grown crops. Starting with a brake drum forge, a $80 Chinese anvil, and a post vise in 1993, my forge has moved with me from house to house. I've gradually built up better equipment (including a brick forge table and a GIB belt grinder), but still fire it with charcoal (and now propane). If you’re new to Adam’s Forge, we’d love for you to start with a Discovery class! Hay bales can spawn as clusters of around 8 blocks in multiple locations.
